I just ran across this site by accident. Surfing the web. I don't see much news on it and not sure if it is still active. I hear the lake is starting to ice over, so we are pretty excited about getting back out there. We still have a lot to do to get the cabin enjoyable. But then again, just being out there is enjoyable!
well its that time of year and was trying to find out what is going on at the lake ? thought maybe you would have the scoop :) i have a new enclosed trailer and was hoping to do as you have in the past years and leave it at the landing for the season ? so any news you may have would be great , Hope you both are well and look forward to seeing everyone again real soon
Let's get this blog going! I hear from Trapper that the lake is frozen enough to ride on. At that time, however, there was no snow. There has since been a storm warning with predictions of 10 to 20 inches, but warmer winds. I haven't spoke to Larry since then so don't know if they got enough for a ride on the long trail.
Hi everyone. We had our MVTrail Club meeting last weekend at the MTA building in Palmer. There is plenty of snow out there for snowmachining. Trails are being groomed. Evelyn and I are planning on being at Trapper this weekend ( 12/12/09 - 12/13/09) and want to help Vern with grooming and staking the trails. The last word is that the trail isn't quite in at the Su-Landing yet but we are getting close.
I just reviewed the MVTC website...very well done!!! It is really nice to hear the trail is open from Susitna Landing :) We were out there last weekend and it was cold. Love all the snow we have gotten. Happy Trails and Happy Holidays!!!
Here it is... another year! We are looking forward to getting back out there! Any word on the Su Landing trail? I know we can go to Rabideaux and get out there, but we want to run the new pup and not sure how he will handle the longer trail. Keeping our fingers crossed that it will be in by Christmas! We have planned a trip out there at that time.

Finally some cold weather. Big Su not frozen up yet, but with -17 temp. it will sure help.
Hope to see everyone at 1:00 pm Dec.6th 2008 here at the Landing. Bring some snacks...I'll make sure the coffee is hot!
